BIO:

Valerie is the mother to two children, and grandmother to 6. She is a Colorado native and spent most of her years in the Denver Metro area. Five years ago, she moved to Pueblo, and has been enjoying the warmer drier climate ever since. Valerie graduated from Colorado Christian University with a BS in Organizational Management, and from Denver Seminary with an MA in Counseling. Currently, she is a licensed professional counselor practicing in her own business for the last 10 years. She likes to read, write and paint art and has found she is good at painting sceneries. She also enjoys hiking and hopes to get back enjoying nature in the Colorado Mountains she has always called home.

Join us this Sunday as we welcome Sonya Shannon and she delivers her talk titled “Loneliness, the Maker of the Soul”.

BIO:

Sonya Shannon is an artist, author, and teacher of metaphysical wisdom and mantra meditation.

At the age of 11, a mystic vision revealed her higher purpose in life. At 15, she began to create divinely inspired artwork and to channel spiritual messages. During a career in film and TV effects, Sonya worked on a Star Trek movie and was a creative director at Broadway Video, home of Saturday Night Live. She taught MFA students at Pratt Institute and School of Visual Arts in New York City and at colleges around the world, including Hong Kong Art Centre and the Central Academy of Art and Design in Beijing, China. In 2014, Sonya channeled the Transformation Oracle, a set of 44 divination cards with guidance for daily life in the Aquarian Age.

Sonya uses her visionary and yogic abilities to read and counsel individuals, especially survivors of childhood trauma and sexual abuse. She believes that all are entitled to our birthright of empowerment, self-fulfillment, and connection to the Divine. Sonya is a regular speaker at Pueblo Divine Science Church and her talks are available on request.

Catherine “Cat” Connor was raised in a Baptist Church setting, where in her 40s she began to realize the messages heard no longer resonated with her. After many years without a church home and the fellowship found there, and after many prayers to Spirit asking to find a sacred space where she’d fit in, she was spiritually led to Pueblo Divine Science where she has now been a member for over 12 years. Through this New Thought awakening experience,  she has intensely expanded her studies of metaphysics and now has an understanding that this is her personal TRUTH, her path to a higher level of consciousness, her Home.

She has now spoken almost monthly for the past year at P.D.S.C., sharing messages on such topics as her own story and how Divine Science profoundly changed her life, The Divine Science history including the life story of Rev. Nona Brooks, The Law of Attraction, frequency and vibrational energies, as well as others.

As a classically trained vocalist, she leads congregational singing for Sunday service, also sharing her voice in many songs including her own original musical creations.

Her current interests include Oracle card readings, in which she has trained online with world renowned Colette Baron-Reid and worked closely locally with Sonya Shannon, and which she will couple with Numerology, both of which she’s ready to get out into the world with.

As a conduit, she looks forward to & is honored by sharing the messages brought forth from Spirit for the Highest Good of all.

Dr. Laura Cole is a professional speaker, author of the book New Thoughts Create a New Life, transformational life coach, Sign Language interpreter as well as a highly successful entrepreneur specializing in helping others manifest a life they love living.

She owns Inspirational Outcomes, a motivational consulting firm that offers coaching, classes, and presenting.  The focus is to teach others about the power of their mind and how to co-create with the Universe, so they can accomplish and manifest anything their heart desires. Her aim is to inspire people to discover a dream that is in harmony with their soul’s purpose, so they can live happy, fulfilling, abundant lives.

Laura has been a workshop leader and professional presenter for over 20 years, educating individuals on how to start and run prosperous businesses. Utilizing her knowledge and experience as a sign language interpreter, Laura is able to dissect communication in a way that few others can. This skill has made her the ideal presenter for corporations who want to have a productive conversation about culturally sensitive topics such as race and disability in the workplace, or simply to improve employee-employer relationships.
