BIO:
Sonya Shannon is an artist, author, and teacher of metaphysical wisdom and mantra meditation.
At the age of 11, a mystic vision revealed her higher purpose in life. At 15, she began to create divinely inspired artwork and to channel spiritual messages. During a career in film and TV effects, Sonya worked on a Star Trek movie and was a creative director at Broadway Video, home of Saturday Night Live. She taught MFA students at Pratt Institute and School of Visual Arts in New York City and at colleges around the world, including Hong Kong Art Centre and the Central Academy of Art and Design in Beijing, China. In 2014, Sonya channeled the Transformation Oracle, a set of 44 divination cards with guidance for daily life in the Aquarian Age.
Sonya uses her visionary and yogic abilities to read and counsel individuals, especially survivors of childhood trauma and sexual abuse. She believes that all are entitled to our birthright of empowerment, self-fulfillment, and connection to the Divine. Sonya is a regular speaker at Pueblo Divine Science Church and her talks are available on request.
